Trainz Railway Simulator

Well, it's free, fast and stable. It can also be used for very complex models – it's much more suitable than GMax for example when working with large and highly detailed models – and it includes everything you might need to make mapping and texturing easier in onepackage. It can render and also 'bake' the results into the texture which means that highlights and shadows can be automatically generated, saving hours of work.

This tutorial will attempt to guide you through the steps necessary to create your own 3D models which can be used in the Trainz Railway Simulator or any other program for which you can find an exporter.
